Surgical navigation systems. Flexible intermedullary nails. Augmented reality. Cryoanesthesia. Every year, important new advances make the scene with the promise to change patient care and practice. Yet it’s harder than ever to keep up with them, as the number of medical products FDA approves each year has quadrupled, and the time physicians like you have to evaluate them has shrunk due to EHRs and other administrative tasks.
There’s a better way. Welcome to Physician Direct, a new solution based on a decade’s worth of experience from the founders of Outpatient Surgery Magazine and the OR Excellence Conference.
Physician Direct is based on a popular in-person health-care “business speed dating” event we innovated called One to One.
Over two mornings, providers and vendors participated in 40 intense 5-minute in-person meetings. Sophisticated matchmaking technology ensured that each meeting was highly relevant.
Participating providers lauded the event as fast-paced, informative and fun. They said it enabled them to see products they never would have seen otherwise, and that those products made big impacts on their facilities.
Physician Direct uses a similar meeting design. But thanks to the powerful Insight Gateway meeting-delivery technology, all the meetings happen online; you can participate at a time and place of your choosing. It’s easy to use: Simply sit down in front of your computer and click a link to start your rapid-fire hour of brief, to-the-point meetings with experts from medical technology companies. At the end of each brief meeting you’ll decide whether you are interested in continuing the conversation. Sales reps get notified of your decision automatically.
